It all started in 2008 with a used spinning wheel from eBay and two donated alpacas, Bob & George.....

These two things taught me about alpacas and hand spinning from a ground up perspective. There were a multitude of learning moments that became priceless in our journey forward. As my skills progressed, so did my love and appreciation for the animals and their fleeces.

When these charming boys traveled over the rainbow bridge in close succession the decision was made to expand our alpaca ownership into breeding. In retrospect, I wish we had been aware there are people willing to guide first time alpaca breeders. We made a lot of rookie mistakes that cost us money and time before we found the proper resources. It is the driving force of my mentorship and education efforts to help others avoid the same pitfalls.

My husband and I are the dynamic duo on our farm. He builds, farms, hosts campers and markets my fiber crafting. I make breeding and husbandry decisions, produce fleece products, mentor and educate through a variety of means.

From two geldings and a llama we have grown into a small breeding and fiber farm that enjoys sharing the unique and curious camelid; the alpaca.

We are striving every day to improve our multi-colored fiber herd, natural products, business organization, farm environment, interpersonal interactions, and our overall presentation.
